An engineering background sparked an early obsession with the hardware side of music - homemade analog synthesizers, MIDI instruments, and custom controllers. That tinkering instinct sits at the center of the project: each track is part record collection, part lab notebook. Vintage samples chopped, gritty synth noises from hardware or software synthesizers, dreamy arpeggiators, with trippy effects.
The result is a mosaic of past generations and modern electronic sound — broken beat grooves, soul-hop swing, and funky bass-lines. Soul.Method releases as a solo project and as half of long-running collaborations with TheBusiness., MIDIcinal, SNDY, BLOSSM, Cat.Party (as Soul.Party), and more.
Onstage, Soul.Method has played Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, Meow Wolf, Larimer Lounge, Roots Music Project, and Arcata Theatre Lounge — supporting Manic Focus, Boogie T.rio, Daily Bread, Father Funk, and ProbCause along the way.
